DNY ADAPT’s Summer 2020 Webinar Series: Proposed Changes to CDPA/PCS

The Department of Health’s proposed changes to home and community-based services may leave many disabled New Yorkers either without care or at whim of a system urging them into an institution. We have until September 14th to tell the DOH that this is unacceptable.

In our webinars we will be going over what the proposed regulations mean for our community and how to submit commentary that advocates for policy reform. YOU can impact the DOH.

Our team at DNY ADAPT has worked to put together a PDF guide that outlines these changes and how to submit commentary. That can be found HERE:

Please SHARE with your family, friends, coworkers, neighbors – the more people that provide commentary, the stronger our voices become. The state makes these changes quietly, and releases regulations in lengthy jargon that seldom reaches the public. Help us change that.

Additionally, please visit www.STOPLTCCUTS.com by CDPAANYS. You will find more tips on submitting feedback, and an easy to access online portal where submissions go directly to the DOH!

We hope to see you there!
